The Final EIR will be on the Authority Board meeting agenda, January 20th, 2010, for consideration for adoption. Public Comment Period : The 60-day public comment period for the Draft EIR commenced on June 5, 2009 and concluded on August 3, 2009.

Public Meetings: Two public meetings were held in June and July 2009 to solicit input from interested parties on the content of the Draft EIR.

• The first meeting was held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at South El Monte High School (1001 North Durfee Avenue in South El Monte, California) at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
• The second meeting was held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the South El Monte High School (1001 North Durfee Avenue in South El Monte, California) at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
